Myrtle Beach Golf
If you are ever looking for a good golf trip or just a place to go have fun with some buddies, Myrtle Beach is a great destination spot for some golf.
This year for spring break me and my golf team went to Myrtle Beach and played some prestigious courses down there.
We played a total of 4 courses including The Grande Dunes, Pine Lakes Country Club, Oak Island Golf Club, and Caledonia Golf and Fish Club.
These are some of the nicest courses that I have played in my life. They are all in great condition and are just spectacular and need to play courses.
Caledonia Golf Club was my favorite out of the four. Caledonia is a pretty flat course with a bermudagrass base. Longer than most courses but the flatness of the course makes up for it. The scenery there was spectacular just beautiful.
Pine Lakes "The Granddaddy", is the oldest golf course in all of Myrtle Beach. This is a non-bermudagrass base so it is a little easier to hit off of. Longest out of all 4 and the tightest. Really great course and would love to play it again.
The Grande Dunes, this course is oceanside and is accompanied by many neighboring houses. Probably one of the nicest public golf courses you will ever see. The hilliest course out of all the courses we played but also the shortest.
Oak Island Golf Club was probably the hardest golf course out of the 4. Right next to the ocean, moderately flat but the winds are just insane. This course will make you modest. Tough course but fun.
