Is 4 majors on the PGA enough or too little?

The PGA has a total of 4 majors per year. These 4 majors include The Masters. The Open, The U.S. Open, and The PGA Championship. All of these 4 majors are the biggest golf tournaments in the entire world, but I think that we can all agree that our favorite is The Masters. The hot topic has come to arise though asking if there should be more majors. Tournaments that the PGA could make into majors include The Players, The FedEx Cup, and The Memorial. If they were to add more majors, retired PGA pros could easily lose their records for the number of Major tournaments that they have won. With them adding more majors it would be a lot easier for players to win bigger tournaments. Jack Nicklaus for example has won, 18 majors! He leads the PGA Tour record books for the most major wins in his career. Jack Nicklaus has won the Masters 6 times, The Open 3 times, The U.S. Open 4 times, and the PGA Championship 5 times. He will go down in history as one of the greatest golf players of all time if not the greatest. Fans have asked the PGA tour to add more majors to add a little more excitement for every tournament. Purses are set for every tournament and there are bigger purses for events that aren't even majors. In my opinion, I think that 4 majors are the perfect amount. 1 major for every 3 months. Besides if they add more major tournaments to their schedule they would be ripping away record-holder records just like that. Jack Nicklaus would not be getting the praise that he deserved if more majors were added and his records would be broken. The majors in golf are what make golf exciting, the competitiveness is unmatched for any other golf tournament other than the 4 majors. So overall I think that they should not add more major tournaments into the year's schedule just to get fans excited for whenever there is a major coming up.
